First of all we would like to thank all of the speakers that came out to career day, Friday , April 23. To kick off Career day the Mayor of Carson Jim Dear was a keynote speaker. Amongst our speakers were, an animator, movie producer, aerospace engineer, and an Author. We also had a stuntman, financial advisor, a nurse and even a Judge. Every speaker had a lot of important and inspiring information. We thank you for being part of this day. Students, teachers, and presenters all had a very good time and learned a great deal about all of the options for careers in the professional world. I am reminded through career day that we are all greatly talented individuals and that we must make something out of the natural talents we are given. Remember, the sky is the limit on what we can achieve.
We could not have had a successful day without the help of our PTF which provided breakfast & lunch for our speakers, our coordinator Mr. Kim as well as everyone else that helped out.
