MAGNOLIA SCIENCE ACADEMY-3 IS MOVING TO ITS NEW LOCATION Please note that MSA-3’s new location will be at Curtiss Middle School Campus in 2009-2010. We will move to our new location in July. Our new address will be 1254 East Helmick Street, Carson, CA 90746. Our new site’s plan and the entrance for our school offices will be mailed to all parents/guardians soon. Hereby, we would like to thank all parents and community members for their support. MSA-3 END OF YEAR TRIP TO KNOTT'S BERRY FARM THEME PARK MSA -3 students will visit Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park in two groups on June 15 and June 16. After having a long and tiring year, MSA-3 students will have a well-deserved chance to have fun altogether. The cost for the trip is $ 20. The permission slips should be returned to Mr. Oz and Mrs. Avsar latest by Thursday, June 11. Parents who would like to volunteer as chaperones should contact Ms. Angie Torres.

WE VISITED UCLA CAMPUS 40 MSA-3 students visited UCLA Campus in Westwood on Wednesday, June 3rd. The visit has been organized by the College Club of MSA-3. Mrs. Farooqui and Mr. Oz supervised the trip. This was MSA-3’s first field trip to a college campus in our first year of operation. Magnolia Science Academies have been established with a focus to send all graduates to college. The students who attended the UCLA visit were all excited. MSA-3 will keep organizing more visits to colleges with the purpose of having our students to see college atmosphere even before high school. |
